Lead the Global Expansion

VP of Global Government

Holt Recruitment has been retained by a global telecommunications leader to spearhead their global business strategy.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy to maximise growth across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global government sales strategy.
  • Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key government agencies, officials, and stakeholders.
  • Sales Management: Managerial responsibilities for the sales team responsible for regional account management of global government relationships.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate and close large-scale contracts with government entities.
  • Business Development: Support and drive the business development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with the government.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree, an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A proven track record of success with 15+ years of experience combining both government sales and government relations, including over 10 years of experience in government sales and account/relationship management, specifically in the Satellite Industry.
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
