About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our catering team at Anchor Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food services to our residents, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the catering team and oversee the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Control kitchen stock and resources within budget
  • Lead by example and promote a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Head Chef or equivalent role
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food services in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people and the impact of food types on medication
  • Basic understanding of IDDSI
  • Ability to work in a pressured environment and produce meals based on implemented menus
