We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Managing Operations: You will work closely with the Home Manager to manage the operations of the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standard.
- Oversee Care Staff: You will be responsible for overseeing the care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent care.
- Training and Supervision: You will assist in training and supervising care staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Pre-Admission Assessments: You will work with the Home Manager to conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring that their care needs are met.
- Care Planning: You will assist in developing and implementing care plans for residents, ensuring that their individual needs are met.
- Communication: You will foster effective communication with residents, their families, and other organizations, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in the care process.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: You will have previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar role.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, able to engage with residents, their families, and other organizations.
- CQC Standards: You will have a good working knowledge of CQC standards and be able to ensure that the care home meets these standards.
- Relationship Building: You will be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
- Care Program Development: You will be able to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
