About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Dispensary Lead. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medicines and healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the dispensary team to deliver high-quality patient care and services
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and ethical standards in the pharmacy
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve dispensary operations and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to pharmacy team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Monitor and report on dispensary performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience in a pharmacy dispensary environment, with a strong understanding of dispensary operations and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements
