About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Graduate to join our dynamic and forward-thinking accounting practice. As a Graduate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team in identifying new business opportunities and preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, identifying their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts, ensuring that all necessary information is included and presented in a clear and concise manner.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion, providing valuable insights to the sales team.
  • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold-calling, and utilizing CRM tools, scheduling appointments for the sales team with prospective clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress, preparing regular reports on sales metrics and targets.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote our accounting services.
  • Client Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process of new clients, coordinating with the accounting and customer service teams to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our accounting services and effectively communicate the benefits and features to potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience or exposure in sales or customer service, preferably in the accounting or financial services sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ZOHO (beneficial) CRM software.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • A professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
