Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the underlying application layer to expose and encapsulate fundamental Generative AI capabilities
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to introduce AI technology
  • Act as an AI champion within the wider technology team, keeping up with the latest advancements and providing mentoring to other engineers
  • Work on RESTful APIs, messaging, event sourcing, and Kafka
  • Apply test-driven development, Agile methodologies, and processes
Requirements
  • Commercial experience of working with AI and Generative AI concepts
  • Strong backend web development experience with Java and SpringBoot
  • Technical project leadership and mentoring experience
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging, event sourcing, and Kafka
