Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of ESCP Europe-Business School's London campus. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Attending board meetings (at least four a year) and contributing to strategic discussions
  • Participating in board committees and working groups to drive forward key initiatives
  • Providing expertise and guidance to support the school's academic and operational activities
  • Ensuring the school's compliance with charity law, company law, and other relevant legislation
  • Overseeing the school's financial management and protecting its assets
  • Representing the school and its values to stakeholders and the wider community
Higher Education Focus

In your role as a higher education trustee, you will have a specific focus on:

  • Contributing to discussions on the latest developments in the higher education sector and their impact on the school
  • Providing guidance on the development of academic and educational offerings
  • Supporting the school's efforts to improve student and staff voice, experience, and wellbeing
  • Ensuring the school's quality assurance processes are robust and effective
