**Job Summary**

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Open and close the store, including cash handling and completion of associated administrative duties.
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service, demonstrating a strong product knowledge and recommending complementary products to enhance sales.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive store culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist management in leading the team to achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support team members as needed, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
  • Ensure the store is correctly merchandised, with visually appealing product displays that attract and engage customers.
  • Process stock deliveries and store transfers, maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient stock management.
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

**Personal Qualities**

  • Able to take direction from management and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including cash handling and banking.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, and work with a diverse team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to approach and serve all customers.
  • Drive to exceed monthly performance targets and achieve sales growth.
  • Methodical approach to completing daily tasks, including stock management and inventory control.
  • High levels of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team, with a commitment to flexibility and adaptability.
