Position Title: Engineering Project Coordinator

Reporting Line: Technical Manager

Compensation: £35,000 - £40,000

Location: Liverpool

Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our robotics division. In this capacity, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing all technical activities to guarantee precision and adherence to the highest quality benchmarks from start to finish. You will work closely with the Technical Manager to enhance resource distribution and develop as well as maintain detailed technical documentation that supports our engineering, product development, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee technical tasks for projects ensuring precision and quality.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Collaborate on thorough risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Research and identify relevant regulatory and industry compliance standards.
  • Maintain records of compliance with technical files, risk assessments, and certifications.
  • Prepare Operational and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Manage and enhance Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Evaluate compliance with standards through analysis and testing programs.
  • Create technical and functional specification documents.
  • Draft technical reports and articles.
  • Review and edit documentation for accuracy and consistency.
  • Stay informed about advancements in machinery standards.
  • Oversee multiple documentation projects, ensuring timely completion.
  • Encourage sustainable and safe practices within project activities.

Job Requirements:

  • C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a similar role across various sites.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Familiarity with machinery standards (UK Supply of Machinery regulations, European Machinery directive, ISO 12100, ISO 13850, IEC).
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong time management and adaptability skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in automation and robotics.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing technologies.
