Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • React to breakdowns and conduct fault-finding activities to resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete planned maintenance activities and installations
  • Support business projects and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience in a heavy engineering plant manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a bias towards mechanical
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, motors, and drives
  • Hold a BTEC ONC / HNC / NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering
