Met Recruitment UK LTD is seeking a highly skilled Fleet and Workshop Controller to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our fleet and workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the fleet and workshop, ensuring efficient and productive workflow.
- Schedule and plan repair and maintenance work to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
- Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards, and is completed to a high standard.
- Manage inventory levels and supplies, working closely with the procurement supervisor.
- Monitor the performance and condition of the fleet, ensuring compliance with Department of Transport regulations.
- Manage the workshop budget, including labor, parts, and overhead costs.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in fleet and workshop management.
- Strong knowledge of HGV systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in HGV maintenance.
- Strong risk management skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
