About The Role

As Operations Manager at GSF Car Parts, you will be responsible for managing process and training for front-line branch staff while supporting the Field Operations team and branch network. Your primary goal will be to drive operational targets, ensure compliance on shrinkage, and resolve key operational issues.

Main Duties and Accountabilities

  • Drive PARC improvement through the OSS and regional teams.
  • Support completion of audits through the OSS team.
  • Complete PARC scoring by providing data.
  • Conduct a 6-week OSS review to review objectives and set new objectives.
  • Hold biweekly reviews with branch regional teams.
  • Lead PARC reviews with the Operations teams and provide clear objectives for shrinkage and compliance improvements.
  • Ensure training on operational processes are recorded and up-to-date in the shared folder.
  • Review and contribute to setting new policies.
  • Maintain and review OSS trackers to maximize OSS time in branch.
  • Complete OSS induction plans.
  • Ensure OSS teams are skilled to train in all areas, including cash banking processes.
  • Manage SOPs, keeping them up-to-date and updating Pitstop as required.
  • Drive branches throughout the month for process completion to ensure smooth month-end completion.
  • Support completion of the Branch Stocktake Management program.
  • Support the stock cleanse program.
  • Maintain a strong link to the Profit Protection Manager and support OSSs as required for audits or stock investigations.
  • Link with the Central Operations Manager.
  • Provide front-line support on projects as needed, including new branch or branch moves.
  • Support other projects as directed by the Head of Operations.

Working Hours:

Average hours, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working. This role covers the entire branch network, so extensive travel and nights away can be expected.

About You

As Operations Manager, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Operational experience in a similar or management role, ideally gained in a multi-site organization.
  • Good knowledge of branch processes.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm with the ability to motivate others and lead by example.
  • Able to work well under own initiative.
  • Excellent communicator, at all levels.
  • IT literate and proficient in the use of Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of Autopart.
  • Clean, valid driving license with the flexibility to travel (overnight stays may be required).
