Procurement Specialist - Maternity Cover

Location: Hybrid Work Environment

Salary: £35,000

We are pleased to present a unique opportunity for a procurement professional to join the esteemed buying team at SC4 Recruitment Limited, covering a maternity leave period.

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and competitive product offerings. Your role will involve sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers on a global scale, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Additionally, you will conduct thorough market analysis to keep our client ahead of the competition. Collaboration with the Merchandise Team will be essential to identify suppliers for growth, maintenance, or exit strategies.

This position requires you to be in the office three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for two days.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of engaging suppliers in the UK, Europe, China, and beyond.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to ensure adherence to critical timelines and effective communication of information.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, fostering positive working relationships.
