The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who is passionate about creating high-quality environments and is able to grow and mentor a team of environment artists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of environment artists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality art assets.
  • Develop and maintain the artistic vision for the game, ensuring that all art is consistent with the game's overall aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including design, programming, and production, to ensure that the environment art meets the game's technical and design requirements.
  • Identify and address any art-related issues or challenges that may impact the game's development.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on environment art.
  • Proven track record of leading an art team on a AAA game project, with a strong understanding of art production pipelines and workflows.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of artists.
  • Strong understanding of game development principles, including art, design, and programming.
