Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement & Supplier Management Apprentice to join our team at RPC. As a key member of our Supplier Management Office (SMO), you will play a crucial role in providing procurement and supplier management services to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the procurement lifecycle, including obtaining quotes, purchasing goods and services, raising purchase orders, and managing invoices.
- Monitor spend against budget and update budget status to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier information and update databases to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and present Management Information reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Obtain quotations, purchase, and track services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure adherence to procurement rules and regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
- Manage contract renewals, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support project tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other relevant duties as required to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Excellent math and English skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Interest in procurement and supplier management, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
