About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Weekend Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Swansea. As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our clients, enhancing their quality of life and promoting their independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with group activities and outings, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Help with shopping and meal preparation, ensuring clients receive nutritious and delicious food.
  • Provide dementia care with empathy and patience, creating a safe and supportive environment.
  • Handle light domestic tasks, maintaining a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, providing transportation and support.
  • Administer or remind clients about medication, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Offer support with personal care when needed, promoting dignity and independence.
