About the Role

Ardent is seeking a highly skilled Land Referencing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Land Referencing team, you will be responsible for applying a robust land referencing methodology to demonstrate diligent and reasonable enquiry ahead of public consultation and application submission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application of land referencing methodology to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Management of land data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Production of statutory compliant Books of Reference and Compulsory Purchase Order Schedules
  • Land planning and acquisition to support project delivery
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure effective land referencing and acquisition
Requirements
  • Degree educated in a relevant field, such as geography, geospatial science, estate or property management, and planning
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Accurate record keeping and data management skills
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages, including MS Word and Excel
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of Land Registry title plans and registers
  • Understanding of Compulsory Purchase legislation
  • Familiarity with GIS systems
  • Driver's license
