Job Title: Registered Service Manager

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our residential nursing service in Taunton.

About the Role:

As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, developing and implementing person-centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, recruiting and inducting new colleagues, and ensuring regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the service's P&L and ensure effective financial management
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans to meet the needs of service users
  • Conduct care needs assessments and create individualised care plans
  • Recruit, induct, and supervise a team of care staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC registration
  • Manage medication competencies and audits
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to service development
  • Complete quarterly audits and reports
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role
  • A Level 5 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with progressive neurological conditions, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
