Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Consultant to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. As a key member of our Early Advisory Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the energy transition and decarbonization strategy for our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary engagement project teams to deliver strategic objectives, such as achieving Net Zero by 2030.
  • Perform analytics, assess and dissect priority data, and present findings to internal and external key stakeholders, including executive leadership teams and government organizations.
  • Undertake interviews with leading industry experts, support, coach, and mentor other team members.
  • Originate research to deliver groundbreaking perspectives in the energy transition sector with private equity investors.
  • Participate directly in business development by contributing and driving relevant global proposal topics.
  • Support internal Early Advisory marketing and content creation activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal operations, specifically around efficiency and performance.
  • Coach and develop other team members.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in the energy industry, either as a consultant or engineer.
  • Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Experience in management consulting and/or early-stage techno-economic studies.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, drive, and flexibility.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Significant experience in engineering and/or early-stage project cost estimating and economic analysis.
  • Oil and Gas (Upstream), LNG, or Refinery Operations.
  • Strategy Consulting or Investment Banking.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent.
