About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Energy Transition Managing Consultant to join our team at PA Consulting. As a key member of our Energy and Utilities practice, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in the energy transition space.

As a Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for building and developing your own pipeline of projects, delivering projects in your area of expertise, and contributing to the development and growth of PA's activities in the energy and utilities sector.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their energy transition needs and develop commercially viable consulting market offerings. You will also lead and deliver large-scale and complex projects, working within mixed consulting and client teams to plan, manage, and deliver work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver energy transition projects, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop commercially viable solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of PA's activities in the energy and utilities sector, working closely with our teams to develop and deliver energy transition projects.
  • Lead and deliver large-scale and complex projects, working within mixed consulting and client teams to plan, manage, and deliver work.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Energy Transition Managing Consultant with a strong quantitative, finance, economics, or engineering background. You will have expertise in at least one of the technologies critical to the energy transition, such as solar, wind, hydrogen, and energy storage. You will also have a significant track record in strategy and business thinking, with experience in delivering projects and building relationships with clients.

You will be a self-starter, able to operate successfully in a commercial environment and flourish in an entrepreneurial setting. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to develop a personal brand.
