Project Officer

We are seeking an experienced and innovative project officer to deliver a variety of projects in our new Landscape City initiative in the City of Bath World Heritage Site and its setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver a range of green infrastructure projects to support delivery of West of England and Bath & North East Somerset Council targets to support nature recovery, improve health and wellbeing and climate resilience.
- Work with the Landscape City Programme Manager, Nature Recovery Manager and Principal Ecologist to develop and implement projects on key sites in the Bathscape landscape.
- Engage with landowners, elected members, special interest groups, volunteers and residents' associations to deliver projects.
- Develop and deliver natural environment projects, particularly habitat improvement and woodland management.
- Facilitate partnerships and community groups to deliver projects.
- Experience of developing and delivering natural environment projects.
- Good facilitation and partnership development skills.
- Ability to think creatively and identify opportunities.
- Strong negotiating skills.
This post is full-time (37 hours per week) fixed-term until 31st March 2026 initially, with the potential to extend dependent upon the success of securing funding.
