Landscape City Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and innovative project officer to deliver a variety of projects in our new Landscape City initiative in the City of Bath World Heritage Site and its setting.
The Project Officer will work with the Landscape City Programme Manager to design and deliver a range of green infrastructure projects to support delivery of West of England and Bath & North East Somerset Council targets to support nature recovery, improve health and wellbeing, and climate resilience.
This work will build on the strong foundations established by Bathscape over the last 5 years, delivering benefits that include enhancement of the green setting of Bath and integration of the urban ecological network, better water management, air quality, noise reduction, safer and more encouraging environments for cycling and walking, and creating conditions that encourage active lifestyles and promoting mental wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work with the Nature Recovery Manager and Principal Ecologist to develop and implement projects on key sites in the Bathscape landscape, engaging with landowners, elected members, special interest groups, volunteers, and residents' associations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver natural environment projects, particularly habitat improvement and woodland management
- Engage with a wide range of partners and community groups to deliver projects
- Think creatively and identify opportunities to deliver projects
- Negotiate with stakeholders to deliver projects
