As a Senior Cost Management Leader at Turner & Townsend, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the key client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.
Key Responsibilities:- Commission Management: Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports, apply Value Management techniques at the outset of a project, and manage estimating and cost planning activities.
- Procurement Process Management: Ensure that all stages of the procurement process, including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation, are performed effectively.
- Final Accounts Negotiation: Ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed with clients.
- Client Interface: Take a lead role in interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
- Team Leadership: Where appropriate, lead a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities.
- Experience: Proven experience of working on major infrastructure projects, including rail projects.
- Cost/Commercial Management Experience: Proven cost/commercial management experience, including post-contract administration.
- Programme and Project Experience: Experience of working on major programmes and projects.
- Infrastructure Experience: Experience of working in the infrastructure sector, including rail, air, power, and highways.
