Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Estimating to lead our team and drive our projects to success. As a key member of our commercial contracting division, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of estimators and provide guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement estimating strategies and procedures to ensure that our projects are priced accurately and competitively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure that our estimating processes are aligned with our business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze estimating performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and ensure that our estimating processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in estimating and project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
