We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Business Development Advisor. As a key member of our Customer Operations team, you will play a vital role in processing documents for finance submitted by Volkswagen Group Dealers and Retailers, verifying details, and ensuring speedy pay-out to get customers in their cars.
Key Responsibilities- Responding to dealer enquiries, mainly through phone calls.
- Entering and handling customer and dealer data via internal systems, adhering to processing procedures and response time guidelines.
- Validating customer documentation with proposal details when received and authorising appropriate payment to the dealer.
- Closing liaison with other business areas, including Customer Services.
- Maintaining a high level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure competence in fulfilling the role.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Full PC literacy.
- Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities.
- Previous customer service centre, call centre, or finance company experience is desirable.
- An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable.
- Strong customer service focus and a customer-friendly manner at all times.
- Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes.
- Able to cope with pressure and meet deadlines, and to work a flexible working pattern, including evenings and weekends, plus some Bank Holidays.
