As a Patient Care Support Specialist in Outpatient Services at our Warwickshire facility, you will bring relevant experience, a meticulous attention to detail, and a flexible mindset. You will demonstrate patience, focus, and exceptional communication abilities. A true team player, you will possess the diligence, IT proficiency, and enthusiasm for personal development and training that can truly make a difference.
If you hold qualifications at NVQ Level 2 or 3, along with relevant experience in an acute healthcare or caregiving environment, that would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities as a Patient Care Support Specialist:
- Support colleagues in various specialties including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry, and Physiotherapy.
- Provide personalized care to patients, ensuring they feel valued as individuals.
- Manage a diverse range of tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
- Ensure the smooth operation of our outpatient clinics on a daily basis.
- Assist medical professionals with procedures, including dressings and wound management.
- Conduct pre-assessments, both in-person and via telephone.
