Forensic Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (FIND) Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with intellectual disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement care pathways for patients with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the FIND service
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff
- Participate in service development and improvement initiatives

Requirements- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Approved Clinician status
- Eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT
- Section 12(2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983
