The role involves supporting various locations, necessitating travel and occasional overnight stays. Flexibility in working hours is essential as we operate around the clock. You will report to the People and Talent Manager while collaborating closely with the Regional Manager and Training Business Partner to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As a People Business Partner, you will deliver comprehensive HR consultancy services to your designated business areas through expert knowledge and actionable plans. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a clear People strategy that aligns with and adds value to our business goals.
- Conducting essential training sessions to empower managers within the organization.
- Identifying specific training needs and providing coaching to Line Managers on HR operational matters.
- Actively participating in meetings and projects to foster teamwork and build relationships.
- Offering expert guidance on HR issues, including grievance and disciplinary matters.
- Cultivating constructive relationships across the organization and providing feedback to management teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitoring and analyzing employee turnover and absence statistics, identifying trends, and proposing solutions to enhance performance.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must possess a Level 5 CIPD qualification (MCIPD). You should have a robust HR background with a proven track record in a similar role, ideally within a multi-site and unionized environment. Key attributes include:
