Job Title: Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with children and young people, providing guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions.

About the Role

This is a training position, and you will undertake a one-year postgraduate diploma in Child Wellbeing Practice through University College London. You will work under close supervision to gain experience across healthcare and community settings, enabling you to deliver high-quality, evidence-based early interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions to children and young people
  • Work under close supervision to gain experience across healthcare and community settings
  • Develop skills and knowledge in child wellbeing practice, including evidence-based interventions and community outreach
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology or related subject, or relevant professional experience in CYP Mental Health/Education/Mentorship
  • Previous experience of working with children and young people
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
