About the Role:

The FISER Group is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Investment Risk Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and modeling investment risks across various asset classes, collaborating with diverse teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, monitor, and report on comprehensive fund investment risks, including liquidity, equity beta, portfolio liquidity, leverage, and counterparty risks.
  • Evaluate risk guardrails and prepare detailed risk and performance summaries for our proprietary derivative overlay strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance risk analytics and exposure reporting for our equity, fixed income, private markets, and hedge fund strategies.
  • Assist in the risk modeling and oversight of externally managed investment strategies, such as Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) swaps with dealer banks.
  • Partner with the Investment Systems team to streamline risk reporting processes and create reporting dashboards linked to various data sources for effective portfolio management.
  • Engage with the Responsible Investment team on annual reporting and the development of new climate risk reports.
  • Review existing reports with stakeholders and propose improvements in presentation and workflow.
  • Design and implement innovative investment risk and performance reports for the Investment Division, particularly in response to new derivative strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment or market risk, either on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Strong academic background in a technical discipline, such as mathematics, engineering, or sciences.
