Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Consultant to join our growing team. As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for advising clients on fire-related matters, assisting with quality assurance and validation, and providing expert guidance on fire safety management systems and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Safety Advice: Provide expert advice to clients on fire-related matters, including fire risk assessments and fire safety management systems.
- Quality Assurance and Validation: Assist with quality assurance and validation of fire risk assessments and fire safety management systems, ensuring compliance with BAFE standards.
- Training and Development: Attend training sessions and update the team on relevant changes to legislation and guidance, ensuring our expertise is up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
- Client Support: Provide practical support to clients in using their online systems and make proactive calls to clients in support of their fire services.
- Complaints and Issues: Handle complaints and issues related to advisors and senior advisors, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- BAFE Standards: Be familiar with BAFE standards and manage the BAFE system operating for clients within The Portfolio Group.
- Specialization: Specialize in fire safety and have relevant practitioner experience, ensuring our clients receive expert advice and guidance.
- Liaison with External Agencies: Liaise with external enforcement and other agencies on behalf of clients, when approved and requested by senior management.
- System Development: Amend fire safety management systems and risk assessments following client requests, ensuring our solutions meet their needs.
- Expertise: Ensure all advice given meets the requirements of BAFE and develop fire systems and eLearning as requested.
- Guidance Notes: Assist the Technical Manager in the development of fire guidance notes, standard phrases, and checklists, covering all legal jurisdictions serviced by The Portfolio Group.
