Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team as a full-time Inpatient Consultant on Ward at the Radbourne Unit, Derby with Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • As a clinical leader, you will be involved in shaping and developing the service, working closely with the Trust's leadership team to drive innovation and excellence in patient care.
  • You will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership, managing a team of healthcare professionals, and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • You will have opportunities to grow and enhance your skills as a clinician, develop evidence-based innovative practices, and contribute to the development of the Trust's strategic plans.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with GMC with license
  • Approved clinician status
  • Excellent knowledge of speciality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA
  • Ability to work in and lead a team
  • Participated in research and service provision
