Senior Finance and Payroll Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance and Payroll Officer to join their finance team in the Sheffield area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career or transition to a more challenging role.
As a Senior Finance and Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the payroll process, including processing payrolls, handling employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Holder of a part-qualified accounting qualification or qualified by experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
- Ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with colleagues in different business areas.
- Experience of developing and delivering training to direct reports and other staff.
