About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Design Lead to join our in-house creative team at the National Trust. As a key member of our Communications and Marketing directorate, you'll play a vital role in shaping and delivering brand communications that are meaningful and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and visual communication of creative solutions for business areas across the organisation, including fundraising, commercial, membership, visitor experience, and more.
  • Collaborate with strategists, writers, digital media specialists, production, and the wider marketing team to create compelling work that's original, clear, and impactful.
  • Develop innovative design solutions across both online and offline platforms in agency or in-house settings.
  • Guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative work.
Requirements
  • Skilled in developing innovative design solutions across both online and offline platforms in agency or in-house settings.
  • Creatively driven with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail in visual storytelling.
  • Effective communicator and team player, thriving in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
  • Knowledgeable about marketing trends, best practices, and aligned with values of charity work.
  • Possess a passion for creating inclusive and engaging experiences for diverse audiences.
