Job Summary:

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Team Leader to join our team. As a Lender Only Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Separate Representation and Equity Release matters where the firm acts solely for the Lender.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Title Checking: Conduct thorough title checks in line with our client lender's requirements, raising enquiries and identifying any necessary issues to report to our lender clients.
  • Mortgage Documentation: Check mortgage offers and issue the necessary mortgage documentation to the borrowers' solicitors.
  • Liaison with Technical Advisors: Liaise with Technical Advisors on complex matters and ensure relevant guidance and instructions are followed.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with borrowers' solicitors to resolve any enquiries and bring the transaction to the swiftest possible conclusion.
  • Pre-Completion Searches: Check pre-completion searches and ensure pre-completion requirements are satisfied.
  • Drawdown and Release of Funds: Handle the drawdown and release of funds.

Requirements:

  • Experience in dealing with Equity Release matters.
  • Licenced Conveyancer/CILEX or qualified Solicitor with fee-earning experience.
