Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our residential nursing service in Taunton.
About the Role:As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, developing and implementing person-centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, recruiting and inducting new colleagues, and ensuring regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the service's P&L and ensure effective financial management
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans to meet the needs of service users
- Conduct care needs assessments and create individualised care plans
- Recruit, induct, and supervise a team of care staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC registration
- Manage medication audits and competencies
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to service development
- Complete quarterly audits and reports
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role
- A Level 5 in Health & Social Care
- Experience working with individuals with progressive neurological conditions, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
