Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our client, the Financial Ombudsman Service, as a Contingent Investigator - Insurance. This is a 12-month temporary assignment that requires a high level of expertise in resolving complaints and disputes related to insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve complaints and disputes related to insurance products and services
  • Assess evidence and make informed decisions based on critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the general insurance market, particularly motor insurance and buildings insurance
  • Provide high-quality written communication to customers, including persuasive and accurate accounts of complaint outcomes
  • Manage conflicting deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to meet productivity expectations
