Join Ilfordbid as an Event Producer and play a key role in the delivery of our Culture and Libraries Development event programme.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Event Producer to lead on the safe delivery of our events, including Redbridge Outdoor Arts, Fabula Festival, Black History Month, Day of the Dead, and Christmas. You will be responsible for managing the overall event programme, including health and safety, risk assessments, and event documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the administration of town centre and outdoor spaces applications to the council, applying for Temporary Event Notices, drafting Risk Assessments, and producing Method Statements.
- Manage artist liaison, checking through artists' technical requirements and documentation, conducting site visits, booking accommodation, raising invoices, and drafting contracts.
- Recruit and manage event casuals, volunteers, and event contractors, ensuring the safe delivery of events.
- Develop and implement cost-effective infrastructure solutions to support the delivery of events.
- Communicate with artists, drafting contracts, discussing tech specs, requirements, and payments.
