About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at CBSbutler. As a global leader in specialized components and subsystems, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions in medical, science, aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project management professional to take on a strategic role, managing R&D and customer-funded projects, and contributing to the improvement of our project management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure the consistent application of effective project management techniques and adherence to our project management processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project and publish them into the MS Project Server system.
  • Coordinate Phase Gate Reviews and ensure they are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate them to the relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring the availability and analysis of relevant data such as schedule-derived ETCs and factored risk cost exposure.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing projects through all or part of the lifecycle, with a focus on production.
  • Demonstrated ability to energize teams to meet critical deadlines and deliver projects.
