As a Business Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for testing the risk, efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of our policies, procedures, systems, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify correct activities that have been completed according to policies and procedures
  • Professionally highlight where activities are not in compliance
  • Assist in verifying and facilitating necessary access to secure systems
  • Work closely with nationally led departments to support regional operational business needs

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Competence using Microsoft Software
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass and maintain vetting level DV together with enhanced security checks

Working Arrangements

This role is part of a national, regional, and local network, and you may be required to travel for business purposes. You will be expected to work flexibly, including unsocial hours and lone working. Public transport may not be available or suitable at these times.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance. You must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
