About the Role

The Estimator Commercial Glazing Systems will be responsible for producing estimates for the design, fabrication, and installation of aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors. This role requires a high level of expertise in estimating and a strong understanding of the commercial glazing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate production for commercial glazing projects, including aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors
  • Review tender documents and produce high-quality tender returns
  • Utilize specialist estimating software to determine material costs and negotiate prices with suppliers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather project information and provide estimates to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in estimating and commercial glazing

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estimating and commercial glazing
  • Strong understanding of aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency in specialist estimating software
