Role Overview:
Due to ongoing success and a strategic growth initiative, we are looking to recruit a driven and experienced Account Manager - Automation Solutions to enhance our established business development team. This role will focus on maximizing opportunities with both current and prospective clients, with an expected 80:20 split favoring existing account management through the sale of automation and robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager in the Automation Solutions sector, you will:
- Engage with customers on-site to foster relationships and comprehend their present and future needs, suggesting enhancements or upgrades that will be beneficial for their operations.
- Develop and maintain Sales Analysis Sheets for each inquiry received.
- Present inquiry outcomes during weekly Sales Meetings, providing insights into future inquiries and potential market trends.
- Organize Sales Handover meetings to relay order details to the technical team, supporting both the project team and the client throughout the project lifecycle as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven sales and account management experience in automation systems, preferably within the automotive industry.
- A minimum qualification of HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering or business discipline.
- A self-driven and organized approach to time management, coupled with strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels and a willingness to travel as required.
