Commercial Account Handler

GGB - Global is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join their team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the Retail Broking Division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, acquiring optimal retention numbers, and identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on their risk and insurance requirements, working closely with Account Executives to deliver tailored solutions.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible terms for clients, leveraging your knowledge of the market and product offerings.
- Ensure that all client details are accurately recorded and entered into the system in a timely manner.
- Deal with insurer and client queries, confirming cover and processing policies as required.
- Apply fundamental legal and regulatory policies in relation to internal policies and the insurance contract.
- Hold or be working towards a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification, with a strong understanding of general insurance, London Market, Lloyd's, and industry products and services.
- Have previous experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of working to targets within a regulated, measurable framework.
- Be risk-aware in handling customer information, 100% customer-focused, and committed to delivering the best possible outcome for clients.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
