Real Estate and Construction Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Real Estate and Construction Associate to join our team at Taylor Root. As a key member of our real estate practice, you will work closely with our experienced partners to advise on complex and high-profile real estate development, regeneration, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a keen interest in construction law, and a proven track record of working on high-profile projects. You will have a solid understanding of JCT contracts, forward funding agreements, and design & build contracts, as well as experience working with prominent construction dispute partners, project finance lawyers, and real estate development heads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on complex real estate development and construction projects
  • Working closely with partners to deliver high-profile projects
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in construction law and real estate

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Lawyer (1PQE - 5PQE)
  • Training and experience at a construction ranked firm (L500 or Chambers)
  • Strong University Academics
  • Familiarity with JCT, forward funding agreements, design & build contracts, and ancillary documents
