Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate to join our Construction Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for construction law and a strong academic background. They will be responsible for delivering clear and high-level legal advice throughout the construction project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Legal Advice: The Associate will deliver clear and high-level legal advice throughout the construction project lifecycle, including for high net worth individuals, joint ventures, corporate and commercial organizations, institutional investors, and developers.
  • Business Development: The Associate will contribute to business development and the growth of the firm's Construction practice.

Examples of Recent Work:

  • The Associate will advise on development agreements for build-to-rent and affordable housing projects.
  • The Associate will advise on the construction of a new state-of-the-art biotech facility.
  • The Associate will advise on the redevelopment of a Grade 2 listed building within the Grosvenor Estate.

Candidate Attributes:

  • The Associate will have a background in a recognized construction law practice, ideally with experience of the acquisition of land for development.
  • The Associate will have at least 3 years PQE as a Solicitor advising on construction issues.
  • The Associate will have a clear and developed understanding of construction law and its commercial application.
  • The Associate will have strong academic history and ability to think outside the box and analyze.
