Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate generator installations and prepare for commissioning.
  • Work with project teams to create detailed commissioning plans and timelines.
  • Execute functional tests, load tests, and performance evaluations on generators.
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues related to generators.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards during the commissioning process.
  • Offer technical assistance to field technicians throughout installation and commissioning.
  • Document all commissioning activities, test outcomes, and any modifications performed.
  • Educate end-users on the operation and maintenance of generators.
Candidate Profile:

  • Willingness to travel and work away from home (with a compensation package).
  • Possession of an NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with generators is preferred.
  • Electrically qualified and registered.
  • Ability to conduct and complete risk assessments.
  • Proficient in interpreting and following electrical schematics and schedules.
  • City & Guilds 18th edition electrical regulations (or equivalent) certification.
  • Valid Full UK driving license.
