Technical Estimating Specialist

At WB Power Services Ltd, a leading provider of generator solutions, we are seeking a skilled Technical Estimating Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring the efficient management of quotations, orders, and technical support while adhering to our ISO standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all WB Power Services Ltd ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 policies and procedures in daily operations.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and Protean systems throughout the quotation and order process.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert guidance to colleagues preparing quotations, utilizing a coaching approach to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Order Processing: Manage incoming orders in accordance with WBPS procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Project Handover: Coordinate and attend handover meetings for complex successful quotations, creating and delivering RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) for these projects.
  • Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers as necessary to support project requirements.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in supplier and internal training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and expertise.

    • Technical knowledge in generator installations, maintenance, or related fields.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce, Protean, or similar CRM/ERP systems.
