Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at one of our Independent Hospitals in Somerset.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse and complex needs. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our team of expert clinicians and therapists to deliver holistic, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs and develop strategies for support.
  • Provide education and training to individuals, families, and carers on mental health issues and support strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • Previous experience in a community setting, preferably in mental health care.
  • GCSEs in certain subjects, such as Maths, English, or Health and Social Care, are preferred.
  • Fully enhanced DBS and a valid UK driving license are preferred.
