Business Administrator Role

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a skilled Business Administrator to join their team. As a Business Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily workload of the Business Administration team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the financial administration of patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Resolve general queries received in the department, providing excellent customer service.
  • Support the triage and resolution of queries raised by patients and consultants, ensuring effective communication.
  • Ensure that information received from external stakeholders meets the minimum level of compliance.
  • Resolve Data Quality issues, maintaining the integrity of patient data.
  • Work with the Business Administration Manager to continually improve processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with general office duties, including filing, post, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a busy customer-facing business support function.
  • Confident and customer-focused communicator, able to manage and interpret data effectively.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing workload.
  • Confidence in working with numbers and large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • GCSE level in English and Maths, with an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, with strong keyboard skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, persistence, resilience, and determination to achieve goals.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
