SEN Teaching Role in Croydon

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teacher to join our team at Starfyn Education. As a Special Needs Educator, you will work with students who have complex and severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

About the Role

This is a long-term, full-time SEN Teaching position based in Croydon. The school focuses on supporting students to reach their full potential through various methods, including sensory development, verbal and non-verbal communication, and play therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Assess and plan lessons to cater to the diverse needs of students with complex and severe learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use your expertise to create engaging and interactive lessons that promote emotional and social development.
  • Manage challenging behavior and provide positive reinforcement to students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a DFE-recognised QTS or equivalent. You should also have experience working with students with complex and severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
